Drake’s Coats & Jackets | Chore Jackets | Johnston Check Melton Wool Donkey Chore Jacket

This donkey jacket is our interpretation of a classic silhouette. We took inspiration from the wool sack coats worn by workers in the 19th century, alongside those eponymous jackets worn by navvies working on donkey engines.

Constructed from a stout 16.2oz melton wool woven in Italy, it is finished with genuine horn buttons and features a distinctive reinforced shoulder, alongside patch and flap bellows pockets and adjustable cuffs.

With a broad, stiff collar and a simple, straight shape, it is a beautiful example of when form and function meet.
